Sertel Adıvar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matty Robson in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute White Eagles FC were awarded a corner. Ben Reid went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on White Eagles FC's corner Ben Reid fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sertel Adıvar quite easily take care of the ball. Matty Robson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Poppy FC defense, Gez Eyre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sertel Adıvar. The Poppy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sertel Adıvar should have stopped the shot. Andy Coburn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sertel Adıvar having to make a save. Sertel Adıvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gez Eyre, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Poppy FC defense, Gez Eyre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sertel Adıvar. The Poppy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sertel Adıvar should have stopped the shot. After having played for 42 minutes, Gez Eyre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White Eagles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gez Eyre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 minutes, Bedir Şirvan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poppy FC and the White Eagles FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Bedir Şirvan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 minutes of play, White Eagles FC's Matty Robson made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sertel Adıvar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

A collision led to White Eagles FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Olly Shaw hit a great ball. Gez Eyre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertel Adıvar having to interfere. Poppy FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Gez Eyre scored to the left of an out of position Sertel Adıvar, making the score, 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gez Eyre in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sertel Adıvar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Poppy FC booed when White Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Richardson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Poppy FC's Sertel Adıvar got control of the ball when Matty Robson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matty Robson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 72nd playminute. Gez Eyre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sertel Adıvar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Eyre in the 76th minute of the match. Sertel Adıvar stood somewhat misplaced when Matty Robson came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 85 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Poppy FC's zone, Gez Eyre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sertel Adıvar came out of the goal and Gez Eyre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gez Eyre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes White Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Olly Shaw. If Gez Eyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over White Eagles FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Poppy FC throughout the match.
