An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Heesen in the 13th minute of play forced ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's goalkeeper János Földvári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dávid Baroch took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georg Hagberg. Ágætis Byrjun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ the free kick. Alain Roche hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nick Heesen to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Heesen came free, but János Földvári reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Heesen got free with János Földvári in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Victor Mereutã hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lev Strizhenko hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ágætis Byrjun's Ladislao Cordarius got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ágætis Byrjun made a substitution. Dennis Moermans replaced Ernst Melis. If Nick Heesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's goalkeeper János Földvári had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nick Heesen. Georg Hagberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richárd Bányai in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Nick Heesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Földvári saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. János Földvári stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick Heesen's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Georg Hagberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Rooney in the 95th minute of play. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
