Alberto Scutti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Felin came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Scutti slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Gildo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Jonathan Burman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Spitaleri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Burman in the 11th minute of play forced Borgo Doria F.C.'s goalkeeper Corrado Spitaleri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fabio Bottone came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Borgo Doria F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Bottone couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Skyborn FC's goalkeeper Fabian Felin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Scutti. Corrado Spitaleri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Jansson in the 17th minute of play. If Fabio Bottone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Bertil Jansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Corrado Spitaleri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Bottone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Felin having to make a save. Ercole Mian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Fabian Felin made a huge save. Jonathan Burman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corrado Spitaleri having to make a save. In the 37th match minute, Borgo Doria F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Meo to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Bottone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrigo Meo got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lars Hellström. After 43 played minutes Borgo Doria F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Marques. Corrado Spitaleri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Jansson in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Corrado Spitaleri was a little too slow when Bertil Jansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. With a little luck, Borgo Doria F.C.'s Corrado Spitaleri got control of the ball when Jonathan Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match, Jonathan Burman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Corrado Spitaleri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hermínio Rossi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Bertil Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Burman might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corrado Spitaleri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Burman ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Skyborn FC's Jakob Wassenius got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match, Gösta Söderberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Corrado Spitaleri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Skyborn FC booed when Borgo Doria F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Hellström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jonathan Burman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Burman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Corrado Spitaleri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabian Felin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Scutti in the 97th minute of the match. Skyborn FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
