After 3 played minutes SuperDepor got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Elian. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustinian Comăneci in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reno Idiaquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led SuperDepor's Călin Bolborici to fire away a dangerous shot which Reno Idiaquez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. SuperDepor's Radu Tarchilă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save SuperDepor from getting a goal against them. Radu Tarchilă made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ebardo Romero sent off a good shot on target. SuperDepor's Radu Tarchilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubim Peralta in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Mandrake fc booed when SuperDepor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Mandrake fc's Radu Tarchilă threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rubim Peralta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Radu Tarchilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubim Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radu Tarchilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ebardo Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Mandrake fc getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cresconio Lara hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Anghel in the 26th minute of play forced Mandrake fc's goalkeeper Reno Idiaquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SuperDepor's Răzvan Anghel got a free kick in the 27th minute. Radu Tarchilă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cresconio Lara in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Iustinian Comăneci made a precise shot to the right of Reno Idiaquez. Mandrake fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 36th minute, Rubim Peralta made a precise shot to the right of Radu Tarchilă. SuperDepor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Rareș Elian made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mandrake fc's Tomás Abancens. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rubim Peralta made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mandrake fc's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Comăneci came free, but Reno Idiaquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Mandrake fc were awarded a corner. Gau Abajas went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 55th match minute, SuperDepor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Elian to maneuver through the defense. Jan Piesciuk made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Severino Jacinto immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubim Peralta in the 60th minute of play forced SuperDepor's goalkeeper Radu Tarchilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubim Peralta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Tarchilă having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubim Peralta in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radu Tarchilă saved SuperDepor from getting behind. Rubim Peralta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radu Tarchilă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Anibal Molina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as SuperDepor's Iustinian Comăneci slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reno Idiaquez. That made the score 1-2 after 93 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SuperDepor walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
