In the 35thth minute of the game Mattias Hilger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Papunhas EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lex Punke was slow to take the kick. During this time Give Peace a Chance's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Give Peace a Chance's Lex Punke to fire away a dangerous shot which Ismael Nazario Serre despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ismael Nazario Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Nazario Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvester Schwede in the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Give Peace a Chance got a freekick which was hit by Lex Punke. The Papunhas EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Give Peace a Chance were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdemar de Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. Mattias Hilger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Nazario Serre having to interfere. Give Peace a Chance's Bruno Untermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 66th minute of play. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Papunhas EC from getting a goal against them. Ismael Nazario Serre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Hilger in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Valdemar de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Untermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Give Peace a Chance's Lu Sang got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Valdemar de Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Untermann. Give Peace a Chance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 82 minutes into the match, Give Peace a Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar de Moraes came free, but Bruno Untermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Untermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar de Moraes in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Mattias Hilger got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ismael Nazario Serre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 86th minute, Lu Sang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Silvester Schwede fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Give Peace a Chance's protests and gave Silvester Schwede a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Give Peace a Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvester Schwede to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Give Peace a Chance's Mattias Hilger fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The Papunhas EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Give Peace a Chance were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
