But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Björkdahl couldn't finish the play. Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s Enrico Marcantonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomáš Petržilka in the 13th minute of play. Alfred Gunár kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Germán Bersabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. Germán Bersabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Václav Veselský having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, FC Rytíři Dobra's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Björkdahl came free, but Václav Veselský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergej Leština charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergej Leština the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Rytíři Dobra getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
