Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pipis Karapatakis got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute Pipis Karapatakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Mürsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fenerbahçe booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darío Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pipis Karapatakis in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lütfü Mürsel saved Fenerbahçe from getting behind. In the 18th minute Pipis Karapatakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Mürsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Metehan Aurelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardel Sanches came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahçe's Freddy Cordarrell. But to his dismay, Freddy Cordarrell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Lütfü Mürsel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lütfü Mürsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Pipis Karapatakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lütfü Mürsel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe defense, Pipis Karapatakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lütfü Mürsel. The Fenerbahçe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lütfü Mürsel should have stopped the shot. Grêmio FBPA's Filiph Biörling got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lütfü Mürsel came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis. But to his dismay, Pipis Karapatakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metehan Aurelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Pipis Karapatakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lütfü Mürsel, 1-5. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Cordarrell in the 56th minute of play. Pipis Karapatakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Lütfü Mürsel made a huge save. After 59 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Dalmai. Fenerbahçe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Pipis Karapatakis scored to the left of an out of position Lütfü Mürsel, making the score, 1-6. Pipis Karapatakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lütfü Mürsel having to make a save. 64 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Lütfü Mürsel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lütfü Mürsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 68th minute of the match. Fenerbahçe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dorival Alagoano in the 71st minute. The corner ended in Dorival Alagoano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches did a great save. Pipis Karapatakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Fenerbahçe's Lütfü Mürsel got control of the ball when Pipis Karapatakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fenerbahçe's Lütfü Mürsel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiph Biörling in the 77th minute of play. Pipis Karapatakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfü Mürsel having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Dorival Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahçe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio FBPA the free kick. After 82 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Alagoano. With his leg Lütfü Mürsel managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pipis Karapatakis in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lütfü Mürsel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Metehan Aurelio scored 2-6 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jardel Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pipis Karapatakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lütfü Mürsel came out and tried to block the shot, but Pipis Karapatakis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-7 in the 90th minute. Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Grêmio FBPA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
