Ross Buchanan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Santo in the 9th minute. Forever Tango's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Slower Lower FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 12 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Hickman came free, but Juan Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ross Buchanan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Raúl Amuchástegui's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Hector Hickman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Giraldo having to interfere. Ross Buchanan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Péron in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Slower Lower FC defense, Juan Raúl Amuchástegui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ross Buchanan. The Slower Lower FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ross Buchanan should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Hector Hickman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Giraldo was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Juan Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derick Murry, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Marcial Uzuri replaced Juan Raúl Amuchástegui. If Jörn Emmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cui Zheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Slower Lower FC booed when Forever Tango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cui Zheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Paolo Péron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ross Buchanan was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Forever Tango fans cheered their team off the field, for while Slower Lower FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
