Golden Generation's Alex Enoaia got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedrinho Seedorf's late challenge caught a Golden Generation's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Seedorf helped the player get up and apologised. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Juliusz Chmelyk with Huang Rong as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 29th minute Huang Rong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlisle Schultz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Trigo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Turgay Şeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Kilman in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fluminense DF's goalkeeper Carlisle Schultz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Turgay Şeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Kilman in the 36th minute of the match. Alex Enoaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlisle Schultz having to interfere. Carlisle Schultz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huang Rong in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Golden Generation's Barnaba Ciborek was substituted for Alex Enoaia. Golden Generation made a substitution. Yorrick Hekman replaced Toni Delgado. The wind increased when Ingemar Kilman made the kick off in the second half. Ulises Dimas got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Huang Rong. Yorrick Hekman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlisle Schultz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Barnaba Ciborek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlisle Schultz came out and tried to block the shot, but Barnaba Ciborek slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 81st minute. If Yorrick Hekman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlisle Schultz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yorrick Hekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Narciso Galoer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fluminense DF's Emílio Pimenta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jaime Arnau, made in the 89th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the game, Prudencio Goiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Turgay Şeren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fluminense DF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
