Alfons Glad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Santos in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Adrian Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfons Glad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Habeeb Shevchenko's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Hannes Haraldsson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Alfons Glad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Segmon IF defense, Miguel Ángel Hvalica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfons Glad. The Segmon IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfons Glad should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Enriquez came free, but Alfons Glad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Robert Dubiel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Constancio was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
