The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Luis Edwardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aristides Barea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Artturi Kaven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Fliz in the 8th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Augusto Fliz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artturi Kaven. That made the score 1-1 in the 8 minute of play. Mihály Fülep struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Artturi Kaven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for O rey Iván. 14 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Edwardo came free, but Aristides Barea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Venancio Reynardo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored O rey Iván's protests and gave Venancio Reynardo a yellow card for diving instead. Norberto Abeitia took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Barea. Mihály Fülep sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donadeu AFC's Anastasio Ursino was substituted for Luis Edwardo. Anastasio Ursino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Barea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Augusto Fliz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artturi Kaven. The goal made the score 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Fliz made a kick off. O rey Iván's Franz Kafka managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Giuseppe Quintal in the 51 minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Donadeu AFC's Anastasio Ursino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Barea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anastasio Ursino scored 2-4 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Barea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70thth minute of the game Anastasio Ursino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O rey Iván's Aristides Barea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Donadeu AFC booed when O rey Iván was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Turan Yalazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Anastasio Ursino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Donadeu AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 78 minutes in the game, Anastasio Ursino dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by O rey Iván's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damian Urtsua was slow to take the kick. During this time Donadeu AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of O rey Iván's goalie and right to 吴烨常.
