When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gabriel Martinelli sped through Svartvallstjärnens IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Linus Ahlquist. Patrik Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Svartvallstjärnens IF got a corner. Ryttartorpets FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Björn Andberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Svartvallstjärnens IF's corner Björn Andberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patrik Linqvist quite easily take care of the ball. Patrik Linqvist was a little too slow when Mats Ljusberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-1. Mats Ljusberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrik Linqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mats Ljusberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ryttartorpets FF from getting a goal against them. Tomas Kvalfält was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 34th match minute, Ryttartorpets FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Bergman to maneuver through the defense. Linus Ahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley Santos in the 36th minute of the match. Jan-Erik Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Patrik Linqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svartvallstjärnens IF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taco Oldenborger in the 41st minute of play forced Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Linus Ahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Linus Ahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Martinelli in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Svartvallstjärnens IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kim Kellbom was slow to take the kick. During this time Ryttartorpets FF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Kim Kellbom got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Linus Ahlquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Ryttartorpets FF's Esbjörn Kjellkvist was substituted for Görkem Güneş. The wind increased when Mats Ljusberg made the kick off in the second half. Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Ljusberg in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Tomas Kvalfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match Benno Bonk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Linus Ahlquist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Björn Andberg went to the cornerflag to take it. 68 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Carlsson came free, but Patrik Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Erik Carlsson in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Linqvist saved Ryttartorpets FF from getting behind. Linus Ahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Gruber in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Gruber came free, but Linus Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Kvalfält hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ryttartorpets FF booed when Svartvallstjärnens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Kvalfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taco Oldenborger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Linus Ahlquist made a huge save. A collision led to Svartvallstjärnens IF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tommy Granberg hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Linus Ahlquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Linus Ahlquist made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Taco Oldenborger sent off a good shot on target. Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Granberg in the 88th minute of play. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Tore Svartström got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvin Lindholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrik Linqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvin Lindholm ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Granberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Linqvist having to interfere. Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tore Svartström in the 97th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
