The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Jacindo got free with Elvio Lada in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Tiburones Pacufantásticos booed when Buenos y Malos Ayres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Dubardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buenos y Malos Ayres's István Détári played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Mirande in the 6th minute of play. István Détári took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Rami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Beltran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute of the match Buenos y Malos Ayres got a corner. Tiburones Pacufantásticos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Jacindo ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Garaile in the 17th minute of play forced Buenos y Malos Ayres's goalkeeper István Détári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Joel Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joel Jacindo's late challenge caught a Tiburones Pacufantásticos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Jacindo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Buenos y Malos Ayres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Jacindo to maneuver through the defense. István Détári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Garaile in the 31st minute of the match. Jonatan Palmkvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elvio Lada could save by the left post. Emanuel Orlin's late challenge caught a Buenos y Malos Ayres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Orlin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Emanuel Orlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Tiburones Pacufantásticos's goalkeeper Elvio Lada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Jacindo. In the 45th minute Paulo Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Lada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Lada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Beltran in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Buenos y Malos Ayres's Waclaw Siwy was substituted for Qu Jian Qi. A hard shot 58 in the game by Justo Mirande from a close distance when the talented István Détári managed to make a qualified save. Buenos y Malos Ayres's players were relieved. When Tiburones Pacufantásticos's Justo Mirande in 62 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. István Détári guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 66th minute Justo Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Détári saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Bartoleme hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Paulo Theobald came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Buenos y Malos Ayres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Theobald couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Mirande in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg István Détári saved Buenos y Malos Ayres from getting behind. Paulo Theobald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Lada having to make a save. Paulo Theobald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Elvio Lada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. István Détári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Mirande in the 87th minute of the match. Elvio Lada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Theobald in the 88th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Tiburones Pacufantásticos's István Détári threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Justo Mirande, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paulo Theobald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Lada having to make a save. István Détári made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Justo Mirande sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Buenos y Malos Ayres's Jonatan Palmkvist got a free kick in the 98th minute. In the 99th minute, Justo Mirande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
