ErbaA KartaLı's Suat Uygun quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind ErbaA KartaLı's goalkeeper Frank Fiori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amos Ruggeri made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ErbaA KartaLı's Suat Uygun. Otang Irawan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamdullah Kaplan in the 66th minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Iker Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Ove Bergman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Fiori. ErbaA KartaLı's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ove Bergman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Dorukhan Uran ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Alesandro Nesta managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. ErbaA KartaLı's Frank Fiori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Bergman in the 90th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Villa Gordiani's Frank Fiori threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ove Bergman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
