After a defensive mix-up in Seed Town West's zone, Cecilio Tristan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witold Kolbe came out of the goal and Cecilio Tristan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Elivareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witold Kolbe having to interfere. Witold Kolbe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Tristan's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Erik Risfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Tristan in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witold Kolbe saved Seed Town West from getting behind. After 23 minutes Seed Town West's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Genaro Elivareo who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Ariel Artaldo drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Seed Town West's goalkeeper. Gregers Kumler was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Tristan in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Witold Kolbe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cecilio Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Witold Kolbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Einar Klysnov kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Witold Kolbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Elivareo in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Cecilio Tristan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Witold Kolbe. Seed Town West's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cecilio Tristan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Tristan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Seed Town West's Witold Kolbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Tristan in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Vânderson Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Witold Kolbe. Seed Town West's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vânderson Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Witold Kolbe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Abuba Akotonon FC's Ernesto Oxarra was substituted for Ramiro Rey. Cecilio Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Witold Kolbe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head. Witold Kolbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Enol in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramón Garay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Witold Kolbe. That made the score 0-8 in the 96 minute of play. Abuba Akotonon FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
