Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop Hollandts in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Tahsin Elçioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kropotkins pojkar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tahsin Elçioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Kropotkins pojkar's Tahsin Elçioğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julius Vanneste narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Kropotkins pojkar's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Standaerts came free, but Per-Arne Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julius Vanneste didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tahsin Elçioğlu went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limburg United's Julius Vanneste was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Limburg United's zone, Tahsin Elçioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Vanneste came out of the goal and Tahsin Elçioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Limburg United fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Limburg United's Douglas Debecker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bob Thielens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Vidman having to interfere. Per-Arne Vidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joop Hollandts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Limburg United getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Douglas Debecker hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahsin Elçioğlu in the 67th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Julius Vanneste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Kropotkins pojkar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Kosakowski to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Gunter Jansens from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Per-Arne Vidman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kropotkins pojkar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Limburg United for a fine match.
