The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd minute, Bergandy's Sven Granberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Pomona AFC's Bernardino Telmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Pomona AFC from getting a goal against them. After 46 played minutes Pomona AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan do Vale.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thor Ståhlberg to make the kick off. Daniel Koch scored 5-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardino Telmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Daniel Koch sped through Pomona AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardino Telmo. Bergandy made a substitution. Markus Kjellqvist replaced Per-Olof Forsberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Daniel Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergandy's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Koch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
