The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tudor Tãrâtã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tahsin Atacan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. A collision led to FC Truseni getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Eugen Tabãrã hit a great ball. Anibal Aritza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tahsin Atacan's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artuir Ramsey. Artuir Ramsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Aritza having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Brion Murphy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anibal Aritza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Artuir Ramsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Aritza having to interfere. Gordon Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Tãrâtã in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, George Pãduret had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gordon Horgan. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Pãduret was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tudor Tãrâtã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gordon Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Tahsin Atacan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anibal Aritza. That made the score 3-1 after 47 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Pãduret to strike the kick off in the second half. Anibal Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brion Murphy in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute COPERNICUS TORUŃ were awarded a corner. Brion Murphy went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Brion Murphy to fire away a dangerous shot which Anibal Aritza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 57 played minutes COPERNICUS TORUŃ got a freekick which was hit by Brion Murphy. FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brion Murphy in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Brion Murphy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anibal Aritza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Mihail Cepoi got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Tahsin Atacan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Truseni's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brion Murphy was slow to take the kick. During this time COPERNICUS TORUŃ's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Olgun Oktay got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 5-1. 72 minutes into the match. Olgun Oktay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugen Tabãrã kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Tahsin Atacan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Anibal Aritza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Tãrâtã in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tahsin Atacan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Aritza was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 90 played minutes FC Truseni got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Tabãrã. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgun Oktay in the 91st minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mircea Dadu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Horgan having to interfere. Brion Murphy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Aritza having to interfere. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
