Artuir Ramsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Olgun Oktay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tahsin Atacan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahsin Atacan in the 25th minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Tãrâtã in the 29th minute of play forced COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goalkeeper Gordon Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahsin Atacan in the 32nd minute of the match. FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgun Oktay in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Brion Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save COPERNICUS TORUŃ from getting a goal against them. Anibal Aritza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olgun Oktay went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tahsin Atacan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Mircea Dadu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Brion Murphy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Dadu came free, but Gordon Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Truseni's zone, Olgun Oktay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Aritza came out of the goal and Olgun Oktay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olgun Oktay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Anibal Aritza made a huge save. In the 67th minute COPERNICUS TORUŃ were awarded a corner. Brion Murphy went to the cornerflag to take it. Artuir Ramsey hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Artuir Ramsey stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of FC Truseni's defenders and the ball went out. COPERNICUS TORUŃ appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. After 70 minutes, Tahsin Atacan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COPERNICUS TORUŃ and the FC Truseni players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, COPERNICUS TORUŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahsin Atacan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Radu Briceag got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Tahsin Atacan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anibal Aritza. The goal made the score 0-2. Gordon Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Creangã in the 78th minute of play. Tudor Tãrâtã hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Artuir Ramsey came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the COPERNICUS TORUŃ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artuir Ramsey couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FC Truseni booed when COPERNICUS TORUŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tahsin Atacan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olgun Oktay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Anibal Aritza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Truseni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. COPERNICUS TORUŃ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
