In the 14thth minute of the game Charlie Boström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Koenig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, A.A. Francana's Francisco Secco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Francisco Secco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of A.A. Francana protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Francisco Secco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A.A. Francana! After 82 minutes of play, A.A. Francana's Elliott Bergsten made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnold Szuper was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 minutes Szombathely Squirrels's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caetano Pique who took care of the corner kick. Caetano Pique made a great header on A.A. Francana's corner, it was just that Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper managed to reach the ball for a save. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Bergsten in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.A. Francana fans cheered their team off the field, for while Szombathely Squirrels had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
