In the 25th match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Gibowski to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Thiago Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Basso was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Geovânio Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Basso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Los Chamos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Shadows were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niklas Lundqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Craig Argoud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Holmgren in the 53rd minute. The Shadows's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thiago Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Los Chamos FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Shadows were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
