Eldad Stock was slow to take the kick. During this time Ssc Napoli's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Kristopher Langston managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 14 minutes into the match, Ssc Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Elçin came free, but Ray Folwill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hakkı Elçin struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ray Folwill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Śląsk Bytom. In the 20th match minute, Ssc Napoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Black to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Gonzalo-Martin Gonzalez Del Solar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Brama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Black got free with Antoni Brama in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antoni Brama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Maranhense in the 31st minute of the match. After 40 minutes Śląsk Bytom's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eldad Stock who took care of the corner kick. Ray Folwill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Elçin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With an all-out effort, Ssc Napoli's Antoni Brama threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Augusto Maranhense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th minute, Zawisza Obronny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hakkı Elçin was the one to do the kick off. Chants of Śląsk Bytom echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ssc Napoli had held the ball for most of the match.
