Filip Felenak struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Luis Galarza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Dragon FC - DMZ. 13 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tonete Abaurre came free, but Adilson de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Benito Lluterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalatakaya F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Lluterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Galarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Negri in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Arí Negri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Luis Galarza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arí Negri came free, but Luis Galarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor Trevisan made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ime Palavos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Lluterio in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adilson de Amorim saved Red Dragon FC - DMZ from getting behind. Adilson de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helmut Gutiérrez in the 39th minute of the match. Aaron Gauargi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of Kalatakaya F.C. booed when Red Dragon FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Kalatakaya F.C. made a substitution. Alexandre Rodrigues replaced Moises Kelemen. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Mateo Kovačić was substituted for Aaron Gauargi. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maicon Abreu to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Alexandre Rodrigues dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adilson de Amorim, 1-1. In the 92nd minute Adrianinho Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Galarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Red Dragon FC - DMZ were awarded a corner. João Vítor Trevisan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalie and right to Ime Palavos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kalatakaya F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
