The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Udalaitz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Aaron Gauargi got a free kick in the 11th minute. Luis Galarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cao Xi Kuan in the 22nd minute of play. When Egon Lätte came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Palermo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egon Lätte couldn't finish the play. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Benito Lluterio got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aaron Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Bautista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Galarza. Kalatakaya F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Bautista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Primitivo Jeraldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kalatakaya F.C. were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Palermo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejandro Chumacero took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alejandro Chumacero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Primitivo Jeraldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luis Galarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Kalatakaya F.C.'s Recep Guftar was substituted for Aaron Gauargi. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Bautista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Rodrigo Bautista made a precise shot to the right of Luis Galarza. Kalatakaya F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Palermo AFC's Primitivo Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Guftar in the 58th minute of play. Primitivo Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonete Abaurre in the 60th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Kalatakaya F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Giorda. Primitivo Jeraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Recep Guftar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrea Giorda made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Recep Guftar immediately put the ball in play. 71 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Bautista came free, but Luis Galarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Alejandro Chumacero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Rodrigo Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Galarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Palermo AFC booed when Kalatakaya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recep Guftar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benito Lluterio came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Kalatakaya F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Lluterio couldn't finish the play. Primitivo Jeraldo came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Kalatakaya F.C.'s Benito Lluterio. But to his dismay, Benito Lluterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Helmut Gutiérrez hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
