Teofil Gierlach showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Khai Amin in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Cordarin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Jerry Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teofil Gierlach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teofil Gierlach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Bryan Hui made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Crosmayo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Soon came free, but Alonzo Cordarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Koh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Cordarin having to interfere. Alonzo Cordarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khai Amin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Teofil Gierlach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Bryan Hui made a huge save. Crosmayo FC's Alonzo Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniz Hsi in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Soon got free with Alonzo Cordarin in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Crosmayo FC! 53 minutes into the game, Mark Koh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alonzo Cordarin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 55 minutes, Wong Butcher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oakham and the Crosmayo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Oakham getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Wong Butcher hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Teofil Gierlach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crosmayo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Alonzo Cordarin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gara Hock in the 65th minute. Crosmayo FC made a substitution. Zbyszek Kostrzewski replaced Arnaldo Inocente. Oakham were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Crosmayo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Muhammad Singh took the corner. Teofil Gierlach hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Teofil Gierlach might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryan Hui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofil Gierlach ran back to his position shaking his head. Oakham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khai Amin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Oakham's Wei Xuan Hui got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Wong Butcher in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alonzo Cordarin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 86th match minute, Crosmayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Gierlach to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Oakham booed when Crosmayo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Oakham's Jerry Soon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alonzo Cordarin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Alonzo Cordarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Soon in the 92nd minute of play.
