In the 19th match minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Aballe to maneuver through the defense. When Jose Heredia came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Parque Europa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Heredia couldn't finish the play. When Urbano Aballe fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's protests and gave Urbano Aballe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Aballe to maneuver through the defense. Mariusz Komornicki came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Parque Europa FC's Jose Heredia. But to his dismay, Jose Heredia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Håland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Luis Täger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Håland, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Parque Europa FC's Jose Heredia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mariusz Komornicki. That made the score 3-1 after 44 minutes of play. In the 47th minute, Urbano Aballe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Håland made a kick off. After a rather tough play, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Evandro Senna got a free kick in the 64th minute. Mariusz Komornicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Zhen Jian in the 67th minute of play. Luis Täger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Håland in the 70th minute. Mariusz Komornicki came out of the goal and Xiao Zhen Jian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Coronel Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Komornicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Radu Dascălu. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Henrique Meireles was substituted for Gösta Andreasson. A collision led to CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Radu Dascălu hit a great ball. The corner ended in Coronel Castro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mariusz Komornicki did a great save.
