Guto Jacinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mario Neumann came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FC Eisenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Neumann couldn't finish the play. Silvio Abergell kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute AFC Cherries were awarded a corner. Luciano Cuenca went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on AFC Cherries's corner Luciano Cuenca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bastian Abel quite easily take care of the ball. If Godfredo Barroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Barroso in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Folko Meckelburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st match minute, FC Eisenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Neumann to maneuver through the defense. Guto Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Udo Giehl, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With his leg Guto Jacinto managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when FC Eisenberg's Mario Neumann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute Udo Giehl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guto Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Abelmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radek Rokos charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radek Rokos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Udo Giehl was the one to do the kick off. Nelu Oblemenco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Bastian Abel made a huge save. AFC Cherries's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luciano Cuenca in the 53rd minute. The corner ended in Luciano Cuenca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel did a great save. After 53 minutes, Folko Meckelburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Eisenberg and the AFC Cherries players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Eisenberg fans cheered their team off the field, for while AFC Cherries had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
