Ronaldo de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Cuenca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robustiano Clementi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guto Jacinto saved AFC Cherries from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Låsberg in the 20th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Robustiano Clementi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's Robustiano Clementi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guto Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time Vista Alegre FC's players had a chance to rest. Dudu Magalhães made a great header on Vista Alegre FC's corner, it was just that AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto managed to reach the ball for a save. The Vista Alegre FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while AFC Cherries had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
