Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Nóbrega in the 29th minute of play. Edmund Balkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Radovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Guga de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Luca Radovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Elivareo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carp Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xandeco FC the free kick. Guga de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carp Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Xandeco FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
