PHOENIX SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Leonard Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holin Probohudono in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Wilson Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vitinho de Barros to make the kick off. Leonard Rosen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lilcho Ilchov in the 54th minute. Frederico Hendrickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonard Rosen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The corner led PHOENIX SC's Phoenix Kante to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonard Rosen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the PHOENIX SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AA Bełchatów.
