In the 3rd minute, Carlos Casemiro made a precise shot to the right of Feijo Zárate. HORTALEZA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to HORTALEZA FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Aldo Quintanilla hit a great ball. E.C. Água Santa's Fernandez Gøl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liberto Jofre in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, HORTALEZA FC's Feijo Zárate got control of the ball when Carlos Casemiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute E.C. Água Santa were awarded a corner. Carlos Casemiro went to the cornerflag to take it. Carlos Casemiro took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feijo Zárate. Feijo Zárate dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. HORTALEZA FC's Feijo Zárate proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save HORTALEZA FC from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, HORTALEZA FC's Zhang Ang Zhen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernandez Gøl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Gafur Balkanlıoğlu took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Feijo Zárate to make any attempt to save it. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feijo Zárate having to make a save. With a little luck, HORTALEZA FC's Feijo Zárate got control of the ball when Gafur Balkanlıoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Valdomiro Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernandez Gøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Ang Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Aldo Quintanilla made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by E.C. Água Santa's Carlos Casemiro. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Feijo Zárate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Darroja kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Albino Che blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feijo Zárate having to make a save. In the 41st minute Gafur Balkanlıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feijo Zárate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gafur Balkanlıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Manuel Darroja fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HORTALEZA FC's protests and gave Manuel Darroja a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Darroja hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feijo Zárate. Feijo Zárate dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liberto Jofre to strike the kick off in the second half. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Feijo Zárate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C. Água Santa. Feijo Zárate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gafur Balkanlıoğlu's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. HORTALEZA FC's Feijo Zárate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gafur Balkanlıoğlu in the 60th minute of play. Feijo Zárate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gafur Balkanlıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, E.C. Água Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Liberto Jofre came free, but Fernandez Gøl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feijo Zárate came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by E.C. Água Santa's Gafur Balkanlıoğlu. But to his dismay, Gafur Balkanlıoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 71 minutes into the match, E.C. Água Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Liberto Jofre came free, but Fernandez Gøl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes HORTALEZA FC got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Cartagena. E.C. Água Santa's Lenílson Bittencourt was substituted for Jonas Fernandes. After 74 played minutes HORTALEZA FC got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Cartagena. In the 78th match minute, E.C. Água Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Fernandez Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liberto Jofre in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gafur Balkanlıoğlu in the 80th minute of play forced HORTALEZA FC's goalkeeper Feijo Zárate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feijo Zárate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gafur Balkanlıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 82 minutes into the game, E.C. Água Santa's Gafur Balkanlıoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feijo Zárate made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. E.C. Água Santa's Frank da Rocha was substituted for Valdomiro Rosado. Aldo Quintanilla made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Macerio Zaplana immediately put the ball in play. For all the effort they put into the match, the HORTALEZA FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for E.C. Água Santa.
