Gianluigi Pagliuca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Lange in the 10th minute of play. Gianluigi Pagliuca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The Frogner fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Frogner's Adrian Sikström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Allan Kilstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frogner's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Kilstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluigi Pagliuca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dadá Alagoano's late challenge caught a Frogner's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dadá Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Dadá Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Real Cobrinha FR's zone, Östen Gunnarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluigi Pagliuca came out of the goal and Östen Gunnarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Real Cobrinha FR's Gianluigi Pagliuca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Gunnarsson in the 31st minute of play. When David Lange came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Frogner fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Lange couldn't finish the play. Gianluigi Pagliuca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Sikström's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute David Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Pagliuca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Real Cobrinha FR booed when Frogner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Egil Blom got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gianluigi Pagliuca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Östen Gunnarsson made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 52ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gianluigi Pagliuca would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 54th minute of the match Frogner got a corner. Real Cobrinha FR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egil Blom ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Frogner's David Lange getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Allan Kilstedt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gianluigi Pagliuca came out and tried to block the shot, but Allan Kilstedt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 56th minute. Östen Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gianluigi Pagliuca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gianluigi Pagliuca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Sikström in the 63rd minute of play forced Real Cobrinha FR's goalkeeper Gianluigi Pagliuca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianluigi Pagliuca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Gunnarsson in the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Real Cobrinha FR defense, Adrian Sikström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gianluigi Pagliuca. The Real Cobrinha FR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gianluigi Pagliuca should have stopped the shot. Gianluigi Pagliuca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Lange in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Östen Gunnarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gianluigi Pagliuca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Gianluigi Pagliuca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Lange in the 76th minute of the match. Gianluigi Pagliuca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Kilstedt in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Real Cobrinha FR's goal looked a bit too open when David Lange came free, but Gianluigi Pagliuca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Gianluigi Pagliuca managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Frogner's Adrian Sikström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edmundo Veiga hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Frogner made a substitution. Robert Hammarbäck replaced Allan Kilstedt. 94 minutes into the game, Östen Gunnarsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gianluigi Pagliuca. Östen Gunnarsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Frogner left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Cobrinha FR.
