Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The SALIMEN fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when SALIMEN's Ulisses Sabóia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gianluigi Pagliuca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Sabóia in the 6th minute of play. Gianluigi Pagliuca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Gerazan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Cláudio Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Pagliuca having to interfere. Enéas Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Ulisses Sabóia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Cobrinha FR's Gianluigi Pagliuca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Real Cobrinha FR's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Sabóia came free, but Gianluigi Pagliuca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Cobrinha FR's Gianluigi Pagliuca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Pereira in the 23rd minute of play. Gianluigi Pagliuca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulisses Sabóia went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Cláudio Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gianluigi Pagliuca. Real Cobrinha FR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 30th minute Cláudio Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Pagliuca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Sabóia in the 32nd minute of play forced Real Cobrinha FR's goalkeeper Gianluigi Pagliuca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SALIMEN's Bebeto Trigo got control of the ball when Hortêncio Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When SALIMEN's Faustino Gerazan in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gianluigi Pagliuca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Real Cobrinha FR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SALIMEN were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Ulisses Sabóia made the kick off in the second half. Gianluigi Pagliuca was a little too slow when Cláudio Pimenta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 54th minute of the match, Cláudio Pimenta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gianluigi Pagliuca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gianluigi Pagliuca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulisses Sabóia in the 56th minute. Cláudio Pimenta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gianluigi Pagliuca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İldeniz Davutoğlu in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gianluigi Pagliuca saved Real Cobrinha FR from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Vinícius Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enéas Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Gianluigi Pagliuca made a huge save.
