Gert Smits might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Pereyra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gert Smits ran back to his position shaking his head. Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Mijdrecht Maffia from getting a goal against them. Amancio Ricart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mirko Vervoort read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. ManagerZone Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evaristo Vasco in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Smits in the 30th minute of play forced ManagerZone Academy's goalkeeper Paolo Pereyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, one of ManagerZone Academy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute, Bram Wessel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paolo Pereyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ate Veninga in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Mijdrecht Maffia got a corner. ManagerZone Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kurt Holthuis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kaan 董卓 kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Wouter Matthijs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Moorlag stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, ManagerZone Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaan 董卓 to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Ricart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Gabino Silva threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mijdrecht Maffia's Gerjan Brugmans quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Paolo Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Moorlag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Academy's goalkeeper Paolo Pereyra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Moorlag. After 84 played minutes ManagerZone Academy got a freekick which was hit by Leon Messi. ManagerZone Academy's Paolo Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Moorlag in the 85th minute of play. Teun Moek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Paolo Pereyra made a huge save. After 92 played minutes Mijdrecht Maffia got a freekick which was hit by Gerjan Brugmans.
