Justin Abril showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Frutos in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Osvaldo Frutos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Abril saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barrio Norte FC's Valentin Ospetsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Barrio Norte FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Barrio Norte FC's Valentin Ospetsu got control of the ball when Ubaldo Ospin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barrio Norte FC's Valentin Ospetsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Ospin in the 28th minute of play. Barrio Norte FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vitório de Medeiros in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Cutberto made a kick off. Amador Donzel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valentin Ospetsu. Barrio Norte FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valentin Ospetsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Donzel's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Osvaldo Frutos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Cutberto in the 63rd minute of play forced Barrio Norte FC's goalkeeper Valentin Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Ospin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Ospetsu. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Karlos Bravo took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Justin Abril to make any attempt to save it. Valentin Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Fenomeno in the 89th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Ronaldão Fenomeno made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Barrio Norte FC's Valentin Ospetsu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aureliano Jordy hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ofelio Galván could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Justin Abril made a huge save. Barrio Norte FC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vitório de Medeiros took the corner. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barrio Norte FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
