Hassan Rashid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Frutos's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Osvaldo Frutos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hassan Rashid was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Osvaldo Frutos might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hassan Rashid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo Frutos ran back to his position shaking his head. Hassan Rashid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ege Onursoy got free with Valentin Ospetsu in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Osvaldo Frutos made a precise shot to the right of Hassan Rashid. POZANTI SPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 23rd minute of the match, Mattias Claudinger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valentin Ospetsu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Osvaldo Frutos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hassan Rashid having to make a save. In the 29th minute Ege Onursoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Ospetsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hassan Rashid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ege Onursoy to make the kick off. The throw-in from Vahdet İren in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barrio Norte FC's Juan Luis Potts. The supporters of POZANTI SPOR booed when Barrio Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Hugo Pinilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Frutos in the 56th minute of play forced POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Hassan Rashid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrio Norte FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vitório de Medeiros in the 58th minute. Hassan Rashid had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Vitório de Medeiros's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Barrio Norte FC's Valentin Ospetsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Yılğıralp in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Hassan Rashid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 70 minutes, Ege Onursoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POZANTI SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ege Onursoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barrio Norte FC made a substitution. Don Elias replaced Yerko Son. Barrio Norte FC made a substitution. Karlos Bravo replaced Edilberto Aballay. Hassan Rashid was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Ofelio Galván capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ofelio Galván really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Hassan Rashid didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karlos Bravo went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Hassan Rashid made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karlos Bravo in the 82nd minute. In the 90th minute Karlos Bravo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hassan Rashid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barrio Norte FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
