When Daniel Domamir came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Pork Eating Crusader fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Domamir couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Medeiros in the 12th minute of play forced Pork Eating Crusader's goalkeeper Korneliusz Karanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Daniel Domamir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Domamir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Medeiros in the 25th minute of play forced Pork Eating Crusader's goalkeeper Korneliusz Karanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Tavares. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Wiktor Pluciennik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pork Eating Crusader's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiktor Pluciennik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulão Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Korneliusz Karanowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montesclarense E.C.. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pork Eating Crusader's goalie and right to Wilson do Nascimento. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pork Eating Crusader's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. André Luís Schmidt hit a great ball. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaar M'Vila in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edelmiro Ayala to strike the kick off in the second half. After 64 played minutes Pork Eating Crusader got a freekick which was hit by Yaar M'Vila. In the 70th minute Edelmiro Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Domamir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulão Medeiros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Korneliusz Karanowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yaar M'Vila in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute of the match Montesclarense E.C. got a corner. Pork Eating Crusader's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernani Tavares ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Domamir's late challenge caught a Montesclarense E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Domamir helped the player get up and apologised. Yaar M'Vila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pork Eating Crusader's goalkeeper Korneliusz Karanowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
