After some careless play in the Pork Eating Crusader defense, André Luís Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Korneliusz Karanowski. The Pork Eating Crusader fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Korneliusz Karanowski should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulão Medeiros got free with Korneliusz Karanowski in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yaar M'Vila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Cardoso having to interfere. After 21 minutes Montesclarense E.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wiktor Pluciennik who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pork Eating Crusader's Wiktor Pluciennik to fire away a dangerous shot which Tostão Cardoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Korneliusz Karanowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson do Nascimento in the 24th minute. When Daniel Domamir came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Pork Eating Crusader fans jumped to their feet. In the 33rd minute Edelmiro Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Montesclarense E.C.'s André Luís Schmidt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Korneliusz Karanowski. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Schmidt in the 40th minute of play forced Pork Eating Crusader's goalkeeper Korneliusz Karanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Pork Eating Crusader's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Schmidt came free, but Korneliusz Karanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tostão Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Domamir in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when Pork Eating Crusader was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaar M'Vila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoni Rostow charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoni Rostow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antoni Rostow kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulão Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pork Eating Crusader's Korneliusz Karanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Medeiros in the 53rd minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Jorge Sá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pork Eating Crusader the free kick. The supporters of Pork Eating Crusader booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korneliusz Karanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Schmidt in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 68th minute Paulão Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Karanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montesclarense E.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wiktor Pluciennik was slow to take the kick. During this time Pork Eating Crusader's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Edelmiro Ayala managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Pork Eating Crusader were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Montesclarense E.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wiktor Pluciennik took the corner. If André Luís Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Pork Eating Crusader's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Schmidt came free, but Korneliusz Karanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Montesclarense E.C. had won after a very even match.
