Pork Eating Crusader's Korneliusz Karanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daavid Šembera in the 13th minute of play. Karl-Michael Bremming kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. FC Alytus United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Deividas Mencendorfs in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Deividas Mencendorfs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Korneliusz Karanowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With an all-out effort, Pork Eating Crusader's Daugirdas Burokas threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edelmiro Ayala, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Lauras Normantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Korneliusz Karanowski was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Wiktor Pluciennik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daugirdas Burokas. The Pork Eating Crusader fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Korneliusz Karanowski should have stopped the shot. Daniel Domamir scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daugirdas Burokas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Lauras Normantas notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pork Eating Crusader's Korneliusz Karanowski. Korneliusz Karanowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
