The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner led Altamora FC's Higino lago to fire away a dangerous shot which Ismael Gimenez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Evaristo Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ismael Gimenez made a huge save. In the 30th match minute, Altamora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Valverde to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Buciuceanu in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Aziz Akarsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 周政景 made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jairo Aurre. Amado Valverde hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Deportivo Mukenio's Ismael Gimenez got control of the ball when Célio Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolf Pocobello charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolf Pocobello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Pocobello. Mario Hever, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half Deportivo Mukenio were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Altamora FC booed when Deportivo Mukenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Aurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mukenio's 周政景 got a free kick in the 54th minute. Tiburcio Liher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 62nd minute. 62 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Liher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aziz Akarsu. Altamora FC made a substitution. Aleix Vidal replaced Teófilo Estrela. Altamora FC's Amado Valverde was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Gimenez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Aziz Akarsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 85 played minutes Deportivo Mukenio got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Rius. Ismael Gimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Nicasio Milian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altamora FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Mukenio the free kick. After 93 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Milian. Deportivo Mukenio played a much better game than Altamora FC and deserved their victory. The Altamora FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
