Aziz Akarsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Liher having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Mukenio booed when Altamora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Valverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Cortez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Gimenez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Deportivo Mukenio's Aziz Akarsu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Leite came free, but Ismael Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Rius got free with Tiburcio Liher in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Mukenio's goalkeeper Ismael Gimenez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ismael Gimenez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Leite in the 31st minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Aziz Akarsu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tiburcio Liher, 2-0. Higino lago charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higino lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Higino lago. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aziz Akarsu to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Aziz Akarsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Célio Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altamora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Célio Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amado Valverde's late challenge caught a Deportivo Mukenio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Valverde helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Valverde. Altamora FC made a substitution. Aleix Vidal replaced Teófilo Estrela. Altamora FC's Osvaldo Vasques was substituted for Duarte Garcia. Amado Valverde hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes Deportivo Mukenio got a freekick which was hit by 周政景. Ismael Gimenez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Célio Leite went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Leite came free, but Ismael Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Jean-Pierre Pogba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Mukenio's Ismael Gimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Leite in the 81st minute of play. When 周政景 fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Mukenio's protests and gave 周政景 a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Mukenio getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. 周政景 hit a great ball. Deportivo Mukenio's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
