After 7 minutes Velho Barreiro FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norberto Loureiro who took care of the corner kick. Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Rydberg in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Velho Barreiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Arye Suryoye booed when Velho Barreiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Medeiros came free, but Kenneth Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Horácio Jacinto in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Arye Suryoye's Otto Hjälm. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Kenneth Käcker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's Ola Rydberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Hidalgo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kenneth Käcker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fotyo Tuliyski in the 32nd minute of the match. Norberto Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Käcker made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nando Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper Kenneth Käcker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stelios Ciobica. Ola Rydberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Hidalgo having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Otto Hjälm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ola Rydberg made a kick off. Ola Rydberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Hidalgo having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Velho Barreiro FC's zone, Ola Rydberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Hidalgo came out of the goal and Ola Rydberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Velho Barreiro FC from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute Fotyo Tuliyski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Käcker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Arye Suryoye's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Guerra came free, but Kenneth Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Arye Suryoye getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rickard Vibjörnsson hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Nando Medeiros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kenneth Käcker skillfully saved the ball. Ola Rydberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenneth Käcker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ola Rydberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 77 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Rydberg came free, but Iker Hidalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aras Adıyaman kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Arye Suryoye's Valdemar Beckeman was substituted for Ola Rydberg. In the 80th match minute, Arye Suryoye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aras Adıyaman to maneuver through the defense. Velho Barreiro FC's Nando Medeiros couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arye Suryoye. Valdemar Beckeman might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Hidalgo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdemar Beckeman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelios Ciobica in the 97th minute of play forced Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper Kenneth Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Velho Barreiro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arye Suryoye's performance. The match ended with a win for Arye Suryoye.
