The audience thought a goal was coming when Ufuk Yalap got free with Pedro Rangel in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Pedro Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ortzi Calzado in the 14th minute of play. Ufuk Yalap might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Rangel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ufuk Yalap ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Tito Goncalves came free, but Pedro Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Ortzi Calzado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Audax Metropolitano's Pedro Rangel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Tito Goncalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Rangel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Roger Coelho hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Uche Okechukwu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alix Vance sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ortzi Calzado succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 38th playminute. Pedro Rangel made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ortzi Calzado sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 44 minutes, Ortzi Calzado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TunaFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ortzi Calzado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as TunaFC's Uche Okechukwu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Rangel. That made the score 3-0 after 46 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ortzi Calzado was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Vítor Hendrix put in a rough tackle. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for TunaFC. Oğuzalp Orkutay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Rangel. 5-0. Pedro Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ufuk Yalap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ortzi Calzado in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ortzi Calzado in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Rangel saved Clube Audax Metropolitano from getting behind. If Uche Okechukwu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter-Jan Anteunis in the 68th minute of play. Pedro Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tito Goncalves in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Goncalves in the 72nd minute of play forced Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalkeeper Pedro Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Tito Goncalves came free, but Pedro Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Tito Goncalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Rangel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ortzi Calzado, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Hamílton Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Audax Metropolitano's protests and gave Hamílton Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Clube Audax Metropolitano getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Hamílton Xavier hit a great ball. There was no doubt that TunaFC were the better team. TunaFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
