If Modesto Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Nuno in the 28th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Bartolo Nuno made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Bartolo Nuno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogelio Abajas to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Bordat in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Galtero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Pepito Santalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Primitivo Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Perico in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Bordat came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Boca Juniors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
