In the 9th minute of the match, Germano Borba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lorenz Ureta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th minute, David Rocha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lorenz Ureta, passed just outside the right post. After 15 played minutes Ajax Colombiano got a freekick which was hit by Rayman Rioseras. Celso Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baba Ba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ajax Colombiano were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Futebol Espinhel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Errapel Aguiluz took the corner. Errapel Aguiluz made a great header on Ajax Colombiano's corner, it was just that Futebol Espinhel's Celso Vasconcelos managed to reach the ball for a save. Errapel Aguiluz's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Celso Vasconcelos - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 18th minute. Baba Ba struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Celso Vasconcelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajax Colombiano. Celso Vasconcelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Avelino Tomé hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

In the 81st minute of the match Ajax Colombiano got a corner. Futebol Espinhel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Errapel Aguiluz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lorenz Ureta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avelino Tomé in the 85th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Futebol Espinhel's Germano Borba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenz Ureta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 93 minutes into the match, Humberto Velasques notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Ajax Colombiano's Lorenz Ureta. Lorenz Ureta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th minute, Germano Borba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Futebol Espinhel fully deserved thier win.
