Saul Erauso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute Jeronimo Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Krystian Żmuda notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak. Stefan Rasiak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Musko came free, but Stefan Rasiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krystian Żmuda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stefan Rasiak firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stefan Rasiak made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Krystian Żmuda sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Atlético Unión Florida defense, Jeronimo Rico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Erauso. The Atlético Unión Florida fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Erauso should have stopped the shot. Stefan Rasiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Musko in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marteinn Palermo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Marteinn Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rasiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Rasiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krystian Żmuda in the 55th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Atlético Unión Florida's corner Saverio Atarratze fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stefan Rasiak quite easily take care of the ball. Carlos Capixaba took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Arthur Laguna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saul Erauso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. America Futebol Clube SP's Jorginho Quirino was substituted for Tadeu Xavier. In the 67th match minute, America Futebol Clube SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Chulapa to maneuver through the defense. Cristo Bilintx charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Bilintx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Unión Florida's Cristo Bilintx got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 70 played minutes Atlético Unión Florida got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Bilintx. America Futebol Clube SP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iago Bala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Atlético Unión Florida booed when America Futebol Clube SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Narciso Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rasiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krystian Żmuda during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iago Bala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Saul Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. America Futebol Clube SP's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
