The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Brunetta got free with Fernando Ruisko in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Lucas hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Fernando Ruisko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Ploieșteanu in the 8th minute of play. Nechifor Zbuchea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Toro in the 9th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Florilor United's Fernando Ruisko threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pavel Ploieșteanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 15th minute Florilor United were awarded a corner. Enrico Brunetta went to the cornerflag to take it. Fernando Ruisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Ploieșteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 32nd minute Hernán Crespo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Zbuchea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Zbuchea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián González, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernán Crespo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Crespo in the 53rd minute of play forced Florilor United's goalkeeper Nechifor Zbuchea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Hernán Crespo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute of the match, Angel Toro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nechifor Zbuchea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. David Orădan hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes in the game Avram Moise did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Șerban Rusu. Fernando Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fernando Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nechifor Zbuchea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernán Crespo in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nechifor Zbuchea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angel Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Zbuchea having to interfere. 91 minutes in the game, Hernán Crespo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nechifor Zbuchea having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Aurelio Aureo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Millo de Haedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Aureo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Zbuchea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The El Millo de Haedo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
