The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Librado got free with Alfredinho Carneiro in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Colognese FC's Alfredinho Carneiro got control of the ball when Marcell Pécsi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcell Pécsi made a kick off. When Colognese FC's Edgard Batista, in the 81st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Colognese FC. In the 86th minute of the match Colognese FC got a corner. Quebrachitos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ioan Cocârlă ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ioan Cocârlă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Quebrachitos FC's Kire Irving did a great save. 90 minutes into the game, Armando Urtzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Alfredinho Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
