When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adhemar de Alcântara sped through Pepsi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christer Forsberg. In the 7th minute, Qi Sha Zhen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silas Britto. The goal made the score 1-1. With a little luck, Landulfos FC's Silas Britto got control of the ball when Qi Sha Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Leme in the 12th minute of play forced Pepsi FC's goalkeeper Christer Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Landulfos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adhemar de Alcântara in the 13th minute. José Carlos Linares hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Landulfos FC's Silas Britto got control of the ball when Hu Sheng Nan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christer Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Pepsi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Leme came free, but Christer Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hu Sheng Nan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Silas Britto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Landulfos FC's Silas Britto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Landulfos FC from getting a goal against them. Luan Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Pepsi FC got a freekick which was hit by Luan Silva. 38 minutes into the match, Landulfos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Qi Sha Zhen came free, but Silas Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgílio Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Allan Hedman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sture Stensson made a kick off. A collision led to Landulfos FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Fellipe Tande hit a great ball. Silas Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hu Sheng Nan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 53 minutes Landulfos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Allan Hedman who took care of the corner kick. Rui Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Christer Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adhemar de Alcântara in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christer Forsberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Adhemar de Alcântara put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Christer Forsberg. Silas Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hu Sheng Nan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Carlos Linares took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christer Forsberg. Christer Forsberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 67th minute, Luiz Leme fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 67th minute Luiz Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepsi FC's Christer Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carlos Linares in the 71st minute of play. Silas Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakarias Koch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hu Sheng Nan in the 86th minute of play forced Landulfos FC's goalkeeper Silas Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepsi FC's Christer Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Leme in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Landulfos FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
