Gonsalve Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinos Nebegleras in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermis Thomaidis in the 8th minute of play forced U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Gonsalve Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bozhil Vaptzarov took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lakis Kissas. Lakis Kissas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Panos Michailidis with Tom Kree as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Lakis Kissas got control of the ball when Bozhil Vaptzarov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rudolf Esken hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Bozhil Vaptzarov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lakis Kissas. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bozhil Vaptzarov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Bozhil Vaptzarov hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gonsalve Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Varusk, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Marinos Nebegleras put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gonsalve Flores. U.D. Mancini's Gonsalve Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermis Thomaidis in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 31st minute of play forced ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's goalkeeper Lakis Kissas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Panos Michailidis. If Bozhil Vaptzarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Bozhil Vaptzarov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.D. Mancini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bozhil Vaptzarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonsalve Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermis Thomaidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bozhil Vaptzarov was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Bozhil Vaptzarov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lakis Kissas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Lakis Kissas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bozhil Vaptzarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Gonsalve Flores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marinos Nebegleras showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 66 minute of play. Brion Macia might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lakis Kissas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brion Macia ran back to his position shaking his head. Lakis Kissas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bozhil Vaptzarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 72 minutes into the match, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's goal looked a bit too open when Bozhil Vaptzarov came free, but Lakis Kissas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 76th minute of play forced ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's goalkeeper Lakis Kissas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Bozhil Vaptzarov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Lakis Kissas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. U.D. Mancini's Pello Sanz was substituted for Brion Macia. After 83 minutes, Bozhil Vaptzarov made it 7-2 with a short kick to the right side. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Lakis Kissas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute Zacharias Kapellos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonsalve Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. U.D. Mancini fully deserved thier win.
